Lydia’s Flowers is a full-service retail florist located in the Financial District of San Francisco, California. We started at our Embarcadero location in 1981 providing floral services to the San Francisco area, but have since expanded to provide services worldwide.

Lydia’s specializes in the Sōgetsu Ikebana (草月生け花) style, which is a specialized school of Japansese floral art. The style traces itself back to 1927, when the school was founded in Japan by Sōfu Teshigahara. Sōgetsu Ikebana is famous for its “Anyone, anywhere, anytime with any kind of material,” credo which lends itself as an art form that can suit any kind of space or occasion.
